The Top 1000 Channels on YouTube

The Top 1000 channels have increased their average monthly views by 24% and average subscriber count by 14.3% in the past six months. Channels in the Top 1000 published an average of 37 videos in September.

From August to September 2015, average monthly views decreased by 12% to 26.7MM and average subscribers stayed around 2.3MM. Of the Top 1000 channels, the Top 100 account for 25.6% of subscribers, 28.5% of monthly views and 13.4% of the videos published.

  • An average of 159K subscribers per channel. The Top 10 Newspapers & Magazines brands (listed below) have an average of 908K subscribers.
  • Over 1.8MM average monthly views compared to the Top 10 Newspapers & Magazines brands with over 9MM average monthly views.
