Director, Agency and Advertiser Development

The Director, Agency & Advertiser Development will be responsible for identifying, sourcing, pitching, defining, negotiating, closing and managing enterprise level partnerships with ad agencies and direct advertisers. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Work closely with executive management team to structure enterprise level partnerships with key agencies and brands. 

  • Develop and execute against enterprise partnership activation plans to maximize OpenSlate data targeting usage across all buying groups.
  • Strategize and generate revenue from direct brands and agencies through sales calls and sales presentations introducing and positioning OpenSlate's data targeting solutions into high–value brand advertiser accounts.
  • Persuasively communicate OpenSlate’s data targeting offerings and unique value proposition to advertisers and agencies via email, over the phone, through in-person meetings/presentations and through formal campaign proposals in a way that meets advertiser and agency business needs and marketing objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships at all personnel levels within an account, demonstrating a thorough understanding of the account’s organization, needs and revenue potential.
  • Strategize and generate revenue from direct brands and agencies through sales calls and sales presentations introducing and positioning OpenSlate's data targeting solutions into high–value brand advertiser accounts.
  • Increase enterprise sales partnerships against the territory and account list.
  • Work with cross-functional teams internally to ensure success and growth of partnerships.
  • Accurately record sales activity and deal pipeline.
  • Attend local market industry events and represent OpenSlate with the highest level of integrity.
  • Become an expert of the OpenSlate platforms and the YouTube ecosystem.

Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will focus on improving, expanding and managing the day-to-day operation of our data platform. You will interact with our senior executives and across several teams requiring expertise in written and spoken communication skills.  You will also define, develop and refine our software platform for ingesting, classifying and driving value from data about native digital video content.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Decomposing complex software engineering projects and stories into individual tasks
  • Designing and implementing algorithms to process and display content metadata
  • Optimizing your code to run in a high-performance real time environment that generates billions of events a day
  • Scaling to meet the demands of our data-hungry clients
  • Supporting the software your write and deploy in our production environment
  • Creating web application code using Python and Django
  • Maintaining and modifying custom RTB server code written in C and Python
  • Dealing with huge datasets and processing vast quantities of data – we ingest and process over 80 gigabytes a day
Requirements Include:
  • 7+ years working in Python
  • 7+ years developing and operating software in a Linux/UNIX environment (incl. working with Perl, Python, Bash, or your favorite scripting language)
  • 5+ years programming in C
  • 5+ years with Django
  • 7+ years working with RDBMS
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of HTTP
  • Competent in web service technologies/ideologies
  • Strong communication skills: able to clearly articulate, defend and document design decisions and work with a distributed team
  • Interest and aptitude for understanding the digital media business and online video in particular
Ideal candidates will also have the following:
  • 7+ years of industry experience, heavily weighted towards Python and Django
  • Experience working with NoSQL databases
  • Familiarity with installing and managing python modules
  • Experience with deploying and upgrading python applications

  • Assist Client Services team in campaign execution – Implementation, Q/A, Reporting, etc.
  • Assist with coordination of team for marketing activities - client events, etc.

REQUIREMENTS:

Account Manager (New York, NY)

The Account Manager is responsible for the hands-on management of YouTube campaigns utilizing OpenSlate data targeting. In partnership with the sales team, this person will work to ensure best in market customer service, overall campaign success, and high levels of customer happiness. This person will work closely with internal and external teams to provide day-to-day campaign management.

VP, Platform Services

The VP Platform Services will work closely with OpenSlate's internal team as well as clients and business partners to develop and expand the OpenSlate platform. This is a multi-faceted role that will draw on a wide range of skills and relationships. A disciplined approach to solving complicated business problems with the help of many constituents, internal and external, will be required. Past experience will include project management and/or operations roles in the digital media space. Experience in or around the programmatic media buying ecosystem is helpful.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

  • Develop best-in-class data integrations, service and support with our partner ecosystem
  • Collaborate with product management, engineering, and sales to build new product and services that allows our business to scale
  • Be an evangelist for OpenSlate and our marketplace solutions
  • Hands-on support including authoring platform informational documents, scoping and managing certain projects, meeting and understanding the needs of clients
REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE
  • BA or BS required; MS or MBA preferred
  • 8+ years total experience within either an media technology or media organization with an emphasis data and analysis
  • Experience with digital advertiser marketing strategies and tactics is strongly preferred
  • Prior experience in client services for a technology and/or digital media company strongly preferred
  • Self-starter, high-energy, with ability to execute on business objectives
  • Strong teamwork and inter-personal skills
